LCS/ Sumpango Kite Festival

 Today we learnt about  the Sumpango Kite Festival. Then we answered the following questions.

Tech/ Foam Costume

 For Tech today some people got to make something out of foam. Even though I didn't get to try it was fun  learning how to make one. We also had to make some patterns using paper.

 Today we continued on with yesterdays math using IXL.

 For maths this week we are learning a bit about algebra and today I did IXL. Even though I didn't finish I wanted to still blog to show I did math.

 For LCS this week we are learning about other country celebrations today we learnt about independence day.

Digital Task

 For a digital task today I did  another art one from purple box. Task was to try create a sand picture. I wasn't really going for a certain look but when I finished it I called it Bow Mountain.

 Todays free write was a more of a spooky so I tried to make the questions more scary.

 Just as all the other days I did another free write answering the questions on what I think happened.

Digital Task/ Digital Art

 For digital task today I did the purple square and I choose one one of those task to do. My challenge was to try get the computer to guess  what I was drawing.

Tech/ Cosplay

 At tech today we talk about cosplay and how to make something out of materials and then we had to answer some questions.

Pop Art/ Digital Task

 Today I did the green box/ Pop Art & Digital Art. Our task was to get a picture, outline it and then add all sorts of colors. I did an elephant and I think it turned out cool.

 For cybersmart today we had create a monster using goggle draw tools. This is mine and I hope you enjoy.

 For LCS today we did body art and talked about what body art or tattoo your country has.

 Today for LCS we talked about traditional clothing. I talked about the piupiu and what its made out of.

 For todays cybersmart challenge we learnt about what to do when you got yourself into and weird and possible scaming website.

 For LCS today we talked about music and traditional things in our culture.

Niue Language week/ Simple Phrases

 Today we had to read some simple Niue phrases with out family and record our self saying them. Even tho I couldn't do it with my family I still did it just by myself.  

Empowerment

 For cybersmart today we focused on what to do if you receive a unsafe email or comment that makes you sad or uncomfortable or just seems sketchy.   

Decimals

 This week my class has been learning about decimals using IXL. This is how today's IXL task went.

I AM affirmations

 This week my class has learnt a bit about affirmations. Our task was to come up with about 20-30 loving affirmations about you. You can ask your friends and family to describe some. For now I came up with 20 for myself but if I come up with more I will blog them as well.

 

Literacy/ Genghis Khan

 Today's Literacy was from Mongolia. Our task was to identify 5 things he did when he was young to become Genghis Khan of Mongolia.

LCS/Moral dilemmas

 Today for LCS we were given situations where you had the distention to be a good friend or not.

 

Tuvalu Language week/ The Disappearing Island

 Because its Tuvalu language week we learnt a bit about it. We found out the Tuvalu is at the verge of losing there nation. We watched a video and then answered the questions. 

Pacific Costume for dances

 Today we watched a video about significant clothing worn by pacific dancers when performing. We had compensation questions to answer.

Valuing my safety

 Today's LCS task was about valuing our safety. We had to find scenarios where we had to be aware of our safety and find 3 on how to be safe.

Maths/ Probability

 For maths we did a bit of probability. Our task was we were given scenarios and we had to predict how likely or how less likely they wold occur.   

Literacy / The Ifoga

 For literacy we learnt about what an Ifoga is and where it originates from.

Valuing My health

 For LCS we did a task about Valuing our health. We had questions to read and answer. These were my answers and I hope you enjoy.

Math/ Picking Poket Money

For maths today we did a task called Picking Poket Money. We had an online dice that we had to role and record the numbers it was landing on but each number equaled to another number. At the end we had to add it all together.

Favorite Lyrics

 Today's task was to find our favorite songs then find your favorite part of the song/ favorite lyrics. Even tho we were meant to find 5 songs it was hard for me to find them all so I found 3 instead. 

Exploring Multicultural Poetry

For today's poetry task it was about where you come from. The poetry explained that just because you come from there doesn't mean I cant come from there.

Multicultural Poetry

 Today's Poetry was about comparing two things using personification. We had questions and then had to create our own.

The poem was

In te reo Maori the word for books and the word for lungs are the same.

They can both hold breath

I can feel my tipuna's words on my tongue the sigh of a turning page

Today LCS task was family interviews where we were given sertain questions applying to your grandparents generation you're parents generation and Your generation. 

Technology/ Design

 Today for tech our task was to get a picture and create your design showing your joint. This is mine.

LCS/ Value Identity

 For today we had to write down who and what we value the most. For example we  had to write down who we value the most in family,friends and what object we value the most.

LCS/ IDENTITY

 For this week we are learning about values and identity. Our challenge today was to Write down what you and a class mate value in a friend. Instead of doing it with a class mate I wrote down what I THINK and class mate would value in a friend.
