 This week my class has been learning about decimals using IXL. This is how today's IXL task went.

Maths/ Probability

 For maths we did a bit of probability. Our task was we were given scenarios and we had to predict how likely or how less likely they wold occur.   

Math/ Picking Poket Money

For maths today we did a task called Picking Poket Money. We had an online dice that we had to role and record the numbers it was landing on but each number equaled to another number. At the end we had to add it all together.

Hit the button

 Room 13 time table to learn this week is 7. And how we learn them is by playing hit the button and challenging each other. Our task was to play hit the button and try learn our 7 times tables here is how I went I will do better the next time I play.

Number of the day

 Today for maths I did number of the day 3 digit. Number of the day is when you get a number and maths questions underneath the number with the questions you have to answer the questions using the number. Today's number was 703 here is my piece of work. You should try it out to.

Maths

I learnt probability at school yesterday probability is like Tally and guessing so we drew a tally bored and we got subjects we would guess one of the subjects and we would spin the and see what it was. Example Blue and Green guess one of those spin the wheel or what ever you are spinning and try guess witch one it lands on. If you get it right circle your answer and is wrong do a line under it. And then you would something like this. I got 5 out of 10 correct and got 5 out of 10 wrong and  that is probability.        

9 x Table

Today at maths we learnt a method for the 9 Times Table. So what you do is you get a 9 times table. For examples 9 x 5 = and then yo get all your fingers and if it is 9 x 5 you take away the 5 finger so you look on your left hand and see all the fingers left so there would be 4 fingers left cause you took the fifth finger so you have 4 and the look at your right side and you have five fingers so the answer is 45. So now you know how to solve 9 x table. So if you have another question you put down the number that is timing with 9 x table.

Measuring

Today we were measuring things we were given a paper with 1 cm 10 cm 20 cm 30 cm 40 cm  50 cm 1 mitre 2 mitre with all those measure mints we would find things around the class and find things that we think is 1 cm and the other things but we would not measure the things yet we would estimate all of them then measure them then we write how long all those objects and give the paper to my teacher. These are some of the things we measured  look at some of those things and see if you can guess how long it is. 

   

Lolly maths

Today we were doing lolly maths so we would get a fruit burs it is a lolly we eat the lolly then we keep the rapper we slowly rip the lolly rapper but we keep it together so we don't make little pieces we tear it and it is still together we had a challenge it was how can make the longest lolly rapper however won they get 3 more lollies. The trick is to make the rapper smaller and thinner my rapper     was 49 cm.

Number Sense flowers

Today with maths we did number sense flowers it is were you roll 345 or 6 dice and the numbers you get you have to think of a number with those numbers you have and I rolled 6 dice and my number was 222,346. Then it flower has some questions like 10 more and 10 less or  in words I like doing the Number sense flowers cause they were really fun and cool to work with friends.
