Art Deco

 

This are work is named "Art Deco" this art work was made near the 1920s that is when its when style was made. If I were to rate it I would give it a five out of five only cause I like the flow of the the lady's scarf and texture. 

The Lions Cage

 

By watching the trailer of The Lions Cage. This is what I think it is about. My first thought was that it was about a man who was stuck in a lions cage and had to try get out it was like a comedy. But then I thought about it a bit more then I guessed another time. I think its about a man who got locked in the lions cage and had to use knowledge to get out before he was eaten alive.   

Right to Vote

 A long time ago about 1800-1893 only men were allowed to vote. I think that it was not fair cause people say women make better dissensions then men. (For example men in these days would spend thousands of money on expensive stuff but women can help them save it instead.) So that means the women would chose a better president for there country.

St. Basil's Cathedral

 The St. Basil's Cathedral is an Orthodox church. Located at the Red Square in  Moscow Russia. It was built in 1561 and it took a few years to build like 1554-1560.

Nz Visitor

 If I was asked to tour and take someone from another country all around New Zealand to places like the Sky Tower and one of our mountains like One tree hill.

I would start off by taking them to New Zealand's tallest land mark the sky tower one of the things I would do while at the sky tower is take them Bungy jumping cause its something cool that you can do there. 

Then I would take them a  little bit further to the Okakune city that's were the Big Carrot is located and its also measured to be 7,5 meters long.

After that I would finish of the day by taking them to the Biggist L&P bottle ever witch is located in Ohinemuri Reserve since 2002.   

The Great wall of China

If I were to visit special land mark around the world I would chose the Great wall of china. And thats not only cause its in China and its one of the 7 wonders cause its also somewhere to go for a walk yea it may take for ages and you will run out of energy and it would be a experience for me and others.

Give Day

Here is a Holiday I made my self it is called Give Day and this will tell you all about it 

 

Canada

If I were to visit Canada on Canada Day witch is one of there holidays were they hang out with friends and family and eat Burgers, Hot dogs, Fries and more. Something I would eat are Burgers and fries but I prefer the fries without gravy. I would also do fire works with my family and my friends.

    

The lost sheep

 It all started when my sheep wanted to fly away. It was a cloudy day and I was making lunch for me and my family then I heard heaps of racket in the shed. It sounded like the sheeps were being attacked. I run outside to see  a long rope going up to the sky and at the end of it my one of the sheep was tied to it. I was confused but worried that it would fall and die. As I slowly pull the rope down the rope breaks and the sheep falls right on top of me.

The Bright beaming eyes

This is a piece of writing I did i while back 

Footsteps slowly creaked on every step of the stairs. The bedroom door handle turned slowly. As my anxiety slowly grew more higher and higher. I see long black fingers come through the tall door. I close my wrinkled eyes hoping it will go away. I feel the pressure as it hardly sits on my stiff bed. As it slowly feels my soft  hair. It softly whispers to me ‘I know you're awake’. As I am scared to breathe in I still do. I start to doze off, he says. Don't fall to sleep. I open my eyes just a little. To see these bright yellow eyes beaming straight at me. I think in my head what could this be. I quickly got up to try to catch this monstrous beast. I use my dark blanket to try and catch it. It disappears into thin air. I rapidly  run to my bright light and switch it on to see sparkly black dust.  Magically flying out of my dusty  window I quickly ran to my sleeping parents room to see this beast of a monster.  Sitting beside their bed. It looks at me and swiftly flies away. It was as fast as a lighting bolt. If i were to describe it it had bright yellow beaming eyes, a black body all around no hair, long fingers and crooked feet. I feel my goosebumps all over my scared  body. As I scream my still sleepy parents wake up to my loud voice they say go back to bed. I look through my window to the house across the road. I see the beast sitting next to someone else's bed.   

Aboriginal Draft Art

 Aboriginal art is a Australian piece of art that was created a long long time ago. My class is making them and we had to make our own symbol that would represent us and our culture. We had to make our draft first and this is mine.

My koru art

 I did a piece of maori art and it looks very good. My class did a task and it was that we had to d a koru art here is mine.

The legend of Rahi,Tu Kahina & Patupaiarehe

 My class learnt about the legend of Rahi,Tu Kahina & Patupaiarehe. We read the book about it and then watched a video about it. Then we had to retell it here is my retell of the story.

A long long time ago guy named Rahi-Tu Kahina had a beautiful wife named Ti Ara-kura-pake-wai. And this one day she was taking care of some plants the she had planted in the forest. When all of a sudden and jealous man named Patupaiarehe took her from where she was a cased a spell behind him so that the trees would block Rahi-Tu Kahina from coming to save her. But he was smarter than that. He build a invention to get over the trees and save his wife. As he went through rivers and hills he had reached a rock so he laid under it when a mighty lizard burst out of the water and tried to reach him but as long as he was under the rock he was safe and then his might eagle friend Namu came to his rescue but it was not over just yet the lizard soon turned into a mighty Taniwha but the eagle had already got Rahi-Tu Kahina on his back and they were back on track. When they had reached their destination Patupaiarehe was their with the wife they battled for her. But Rahi-Tu Kahin Na was to weak but he had got a little bit of help from his eagle friend after

they got his wife back they went home. 

My animation

 I did a animation about mana and how he found fire. It is really cool and make sure you start from page 3. My challenge for you is to try make you own one. I did it so can you.

Mana finds fire

 My class learnt about how Maori found fire so we watched a video about it. And we had to rewrite it in our own words here is mine and i hope you like it. 

A long long time ago a man named maui. Had the audacity to trick mana the fire lady. She had 5 fire fingers to help people with stuff so every time someone would need help to make fire she would give one of the fires from her fingers and give it to them. But she had run out and only had one fire finger left. So she lived in a cave. So maui the guy who tricked mana yea. This one day he felt like putting out all the fire in the world and then pretend to save them. So after he had put the fire out he said I will get some more from mana. They were all so glad. So he trotted like he was a hero to mana's cave and asked for her last finger. She was so angry she through a fireball at him. It hit him  and he turned it to fire fairly and flew into the trees and now everyone uses the trees to make fire.  

Gold tooth

 My class had to do a task for Tongan language week. Is the golden tooth. We had to watch a video. And then rewrite it in your own words. Here is my story and it is quiet funny.

A long long time ago there was a boy named Sione. And this one day he knew he messed up. He had split Otai all over his mother’s wedding dress he tried to say sorry but he did not even say a word before his mum had already pulled the shoe of her foot and the wooden spoon from underneath her sleeve.  He tried to run but his mum grabbed him by his hair but he kicked her and ran away. He was now poor he knew if he went home there would be every one in his family waiting there to smack him till he is dead. He starved for days but then he found a yellow banana on the ground it was really a piece of gold he bit it but it was way to hard. It got stuck between his teeth and now he is now named the golden teeth boy who spilt Otai on his mum and got away with it. 

300 word story

I had to make a 300 word story. With my class here is my picture to go with it. 

Don't look down, they say. The clouds close in as he takes slow steps on to each part of the shaking rope. In his head he is hoping he does not fall. His anxiety over takes him just as if he were a cat but he thought to himself if i was a cat would I land on my feet. His feet start to shiver. He is praying that it will go well. The other person on the other side is telling him to stay calm. With his bare feet touching the rope. They start to slip. He tries to balance but he just can’t. He closes his eyes and just stands still shivering. When all of a sudden he hears a snapping sound. He opens his eyes as fast as he can. To just see his friend taking a photo. He thought it was the end for him. But he is nearly to the other side. He is not so scared anymore when the rope starts to break he is too scared to carry his friend told him if he did not carry on the rope would snap with him on it. The rope breaks from the other side. He grabs the rope as the rope falls and he holds on for his dear life. His friend immediately calls 911 the police. Before they know it there will be a helicopter flying above him. But will they be there in time. He uses all his power to hang on. They were not going to be there till another five minutes. His friend tries to reach him but there is no use. He is sweating, his hands are in pain. He prays to god that if he falls he will be taken to heaven. He tries to climb the rope he just lets go when all of a sudden he feels a hand grab him, it's the helicopter and the rescuers inside he is so relieved to know that he is not going to die. 

Escape the class room

 Today for a challenge my class did escape the class room where were given a slide with school supplies and apple pictures on it we had to figure out what we had to do it turned out that the pictures were links. There was one task that two other task gave the answers for. Here is my proof i did it.

     

LCS cooking

 today for LCS we had to cook something. I am not the best at cooking stuff so I tried something easier like a hot drink. It was really yum but not better then my mums. You should try it out and see what you make.

The magic globe

Today for daily five we I did work on writing i did a piece of writing  about the magic globe. Here is my piece of writing enjoy.

The magic globe: I was opening my attic. As I pulled down the stairs I climbed right up. To see hundreds of things. But there was one box in particular it glowed through the window it shined bright and right there we. We opened the box to find the magic globe we did not know what it does or what it is. All we know was that it was magical. It glowed bright orange on every country it shined so bright it could not be real we spun it around suddenly we felt a shake we wondered was that us. We put the globe back and went downstairs to find the globe on the table.

Lock down i wanna tell you about how lock down was in my country 

When we had to go into lock down I was sad that we weren't going to school
for 7 to 8

Something cool was that it was my aunt's birthday in level 3 so we could

Squash

In room 13 our kiwi sport is Squash it is a type of sport so you will have 3 walls around you then you have a buddy or a person you are competing against and you try hitting the ball  to the wall then the other person will hit the ball until one of you are out one of the ways to get out is . There will be three lines one in the middle one at the bottom and one on the top so what you need to try not to hit it under the bottom line and don't hit it above the top line and that is how you play Squash here are some photos of me and my class at squash.

Maths

I learnt probability at school yesterday probability is like Tally and guessing so we drew a tally bored and we got subjects we would guess one of the subjects and we would spin the and see what it was. Example Blue and Green guess one of those spin the wheel or what ever you are spinning and try guess witch one it lands on. If you get it right circle your answer and is wrong do a line under it. And then you would something like this. I got 5 out of 10 correct and got 5 out of 10 wrong and  that is probability.        

Identity art

Our art focus for art this year is Identity so our class made some Identity are we were in groups and and given pieces that made up a letter from the word Identity. When got the pieces they were plan white our job was to do cultural patterns and decorate the letters. And my letter was N and I did some mean patterns and I liked them here is the finish look.

Ice blocks

This week on Tuesday we made Ice blocks

Stuff we used

2. A Ice block stick

4. Fizzy drink and glad rap

First we wrote our name on our cup then got a ice  block and washed it. After that we got Raro and pored a little bit in then we added the fizzy drink. Next step was putting the glad rap over so when it goes in the freezer  it dose not tip we left in the freezer over night then they were ready after school we collected our ice blocks and ate them well the camera girl came up to us and took photos.

Life ed

Last week and this week me and my class not only us went to life ed it is these peoples job to teach kids about health and identity as well as Harold the  giraffe will also come to meet us to  at our session with Harold we learnt about our identity and our culture we also watched a video about Harold friend having day it was about her friends perishing her to do bad things and then a boy thought  her a lesson about how you do  not have to do things  just cause other people do it we also played fun games with them like guess who i am I am look ford to next year with Harold and here are some photos of me and my class at Life ed

A-Z country work

In room 13 we did the A-Z work so what it is that you think off a country starting with every letter in the Alphabet and also think of the country famous food and art this was fun and really hard like some of the letter like Z and X.

Quick write

At school room 13 did quick write so you will be shown a photo and al you do is think of a short story using your imagination. And you make a amazing story when we did it it was so fun and when we had to stop we were like aww but then we got a another 5 to finish our story so that was meaning we liked doing quick write so that is quick write.
